Recipes and Cooking Tips

There are many recipes available that are naturally lactose free. Other recipes can use substitutions to convert them to lactose free cooking. For example with recipes calling for milk, consider substituting rice milk. Specialty stores often stock lactose free margarine and chocolate chips for use in cookies. Also look for recipes tagged as Vegan – they won’t contain any dairy products while vegetarian recipes may. A good resource is the Veggies Unite! Recipe Directory.

If you have any wonderful dairy-free recipes please submit them so we can post them here and share them with others.
